Notes from a Busy Mum

I am a school leader, wife, and mum to two teenage girls and an 11-year-old boy — which means my days run on coffee, calendar reminders, and a fair amount of winging it.

By day, I lead a school. By night, I navigate the wonderfully unpredictable world of raising teens (and one very energetic 11-year-old). I call it the “double-lens” life — because the skills that get me through a tricky staff meeting are often the exact same ones I need at the dinner table by 6pm.

This blog is where I write it all down: the wins, the wobbles, and everything in between. No filters, no pretending I’ve got it all figured out — just honest stories from someone juggling a demanding career and an even more demanding household.

If you’re a parent, a leader, or just someone trying to hold it all together, you’re in the right place.
